Private room in town. Family friendly neighborhood two minutes from the hospital, downtown, gym and grocery store. You’ll feel very safe and not be bothered. Desk in room perfect for business/homework. Black-out curtains & white noise machine great for guests who work nights. Tankless water heater so you never have to worry about running out of hot water. Smart-TV in room w/ cable & DVD player. (You can also access your personal streaming services). Pet free, smoke free home. Private upstairs bedroom with hallway bathroom. Your bathroom will also be private unless another guest has booked the other room. It is your and the other guest’s responsibility to be respectful to each other and each agree to that upon booking. Our door is keypad entry, providing a 100% self check-in/out process and stay. You will be provided with a personalized code prior to arrival. The keypad is on the door in the deadbolt location. Hit the symbol up top to light up the keypad, and hit the check mark after typing your code to open the door. The door may lock automatically. Guest may use the kitchen and laundry room. There is a pantry shelf labeled and reserved for you in the kitchen. This is a self service stay. We keep to ourselves and you will not be bothered. (Introverts, this is your dream listing). Less than a mile from the hospital. 1.2 miles (2 minute drive) to get to the start of adorable old town Culpeper. 1.6 miles from the Culpeper Satiation Amtrak. Less than 2 miles to Rockwater Park. 2-2.5 miles to Yowell Meadow Park depending on your route. 1.9 miles (5 minute drive) to Lake Pelham Adventures. April-October they offer canoes, kayaks, paddle board, and paddle boat rentals. Close to countless local wineries and breweries. 3.8 miles to Mountain Run Winery (8 min drive). 8.9 miles to Old House Vineyards (15 min drive). 1.9 miles to Beer Hound Brewery. Just to name a few. 20 minutes to skyline drive and amazing hikes in the Shenandoah Mountains. 35 minutes to Old Rag hike parking. 45 minutes to Shenandoah National Park. 35 minutes to Christopher Run Campground Lake Anna. About 50 minutes to Charlottesville VA or Fredericksburg VA. 1 hour to Luray Caverns. 1.5 hours to DC. Please feel free to park in our driveway on either side, or in front of our mailbox. If those areas are taken by other guests, you will need to find street parking. There are sidewalks throughout the charming neighborhood perfect for taking walks. I would not rely on Ubers as it is a smaller town. You CAN walk from the Amtrak or downtown if you feel up for it, but there is a partial section of the way with no sidewalk along a pretty popular road. It IS doable, but it’s up to you. The house is occupied by a family of three. Your room is private and will not be accessed by anyone but yourself. The property contains 3 ring cameras, located at the front doorbell, driveway, and in the backyard facing the back gate.
