The Cottage at Flint Farm in NE Huntsville

Located behind an 1844 Historic Plantation home listed on the National Register, our guest cottage is behind the main house. With it's own private entrance and porches overlooking horse pastures and barns. There are 150 acres with creeks and trails to ramble about and access to the Flint River located within walking distance (15 min walk). With Huntsville's sprawling growth surrounding us we are minutes to restaurants and shopping. Just 12 min to downtown Huntsville. The cottage is wheelchair accessible from the front door with wide entryways to the bedroom and bathroom. Ideal for 2 guests however there is a futon available to accommodate a 3rd if needed. Guests are free to roam the farm, check out the creek or walk to the Flint River (15 min walk ) Although we are a working farm on 150 acres Huntsville's suburban sprawl has managed to surround us in recent years. Unfortunately, because of this "Progress" the sound of traffic can be heard from the property along with birdsong and chickens. The upside is shopping and restaurants are close by. The cottage is located just behind the Main House .
