Blue Sky Chalet is high above Conifer at 8450 ft elevation. Surrounded by thousands of acres of trails & walking distance to Fly J Ranch Park & on dead end street. Your stay will be private, quiet, clean & comfortable! The chalet is a perfect location for guests who are passionate about mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing, down hill & XC skiing, fishing, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. The mountain air is fresh and views are truly amazing! Wildlife, hummingbirds, rainbows abound! Chalet is on host's 2 acre property, behind occupied home. Your privacy is respected. My goal is to make your home away from home as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Full kitchen has refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle and all utensils for your cooking pleasure. Grocery stores (King Soopers, Safeway, Natural Grocers) are only 8 minutes away! Fine linens, down comforters, soap, towels (basically all essentials) are provided for a pleasant stay. Board games, cards, Colorado hiking & snowshoe trail books, movie streaming (Roku), coloring books, puzzles in chalet for your entertainment as well. Plenty of free parking is available on black asphalt driveway. Chalet parking is to the far right as you pull into driveway. PLEASE BE CAREFUL since ice & snow are present during winter months. Take the walkway between house and garage directly (SouthWest) to chalet. If arriving after sunset, motion activated lights will allow you to easily see your way to your private entrance. Must have 4WD or AWD vehicle during winter months(Oct. thru April) Blue Sky Trail is a very narrow private road. DRIVE SLOWLY!! Kids, dogs, wildlife in area. If you encounter another vehicle please pull into nearest driveway or allow other vehicles to yield/ pull over. This means two cars can not pass at the same time. Should you encounter another vehicle, please be considerate and pull or back into the nearest driveway. Whichever car is closest to a driveway should accommodate. Drive slowly please. * PLEASE NOTE - During Winter months (Oct. - April) 4WD/AWD vehicles are required.
