Mt. Kineo Cottage at Pine grove

Mt. Kineo Cottage is located at Pine Grove Campground this is a rustic park in the north Maine woods. The cottage is a tiny home 500 square feet with river views. It has a half bathroom so guest shower in the nearby bathhouse. This is a small cottage with steep steps going to the loft which has a full bed and 2 twin beds. Our cottages are very clean and meet Covid Guidelines Our wifi is through the phone company and is not strong. We have aTV lounge by the office for guest to use wifi The cottage has everything you need . We have free canoes and kayaks for you so you can enjoy the Penobscott river Our water is tested and drinkable but has minerals which have a taste and smell. If you prefer, please bring bottled water You will have access to our TV lounge. The bath house and the kids playroom We have a home on site so we are always available for your needs The cottage is located near Medway which has a restaurant, small grocery store and gas stations. For more variety, Millinocket is 16 miles away and has many restaurants, coffee and larger grocery stores Hiking and biking trails nearby. Penobscott River Trails are 6 miles from the campground and provide groomed biking and hiking trails with bikes available on weekends for a donation. Baxter state Park is 28 miles and is a gorgeous mountainous hiking area Our water is tested every 3 months through the State of Maine. The water passes all drinking standards, but it has iron in it, but is drinkable. Please bring bottled water if you would prefer. Our wifi is provided by the phone company and is weak. It works best in our TV lounge which is located near the office and is open 24 hours The stairs to the sleeping loft are steep. Please choose another rental if you are not comfortable with steep stairs
