We have decided to share our panoramic view of Greers Ferry Lake, complete with cabin. Enjoy an evening fire in the fireplace, or watch the sunset from the front porch. Explore 80 private acres. Hike our bluffs and scenic rock formations. Our family of bald eagles can provide endless entertainment. For the adventurous, make the steep hike to the lake shore where kayaks are provided for our guests. Sturdy shoes are a must! We are located 5.8 miles down a well maintained gravel road. Enjoy our 1150 sq ft. 2 bdrm 2 bath cabin. This is our little bit of paradise to come and unplug. Please enjoy and respect our taxidermy collection. Our cabin does not have WiFi or television stations. Two tvs with DVD players are provided with an assortment of movies. The downstairs bedroom comes with bunkbeds and a trundle bed for the kiddos. The big kids get the upstairs queen with a private sitting area (Website hidden by Airbnb) Enjoy a fire in the fireplace or sit around the outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows. If you're lucky you may witness a close up view of the Air Force C130 training in action with a low altitude canyon flyby. Our bluffs and mountainside provide adventurous hiking opportunities. Access to the lake is a 1/2 mile hike with the last 500 foot being a steep trail down to the shoreline. Use the provided kayaks for a year round scenic escape. Spend winter evenings watching eagles and listening to the cry of loons. Enjoy early spring mornings listening to turkeys while catching crappie from my favorite spot. We are located approximately 35 minutes from Mtn. View, AR, 30 minutes from Greers Ferry, and 20 minutes from the nearest grocery store at Prim, AR. We are 5.8 miles from pavement on a well maintained gravel road which is easily accessible by all vehicle types. Guests have access to the whole cabin and 80 secluded acres. We know guests are coming to unwind and will give you privacy. We can be reached by phone call or text and are a short drive away should you need assistance. Our 80 acres is secluded with only a few weekend neighbors within a couple miles. The nearest restaurants or grocery store is a 30 minute drive. Our most common neighbors are the bald eagles, deer, turkey and occasional bear that call our property home. Our property is accessible year long by any passenger vehicle. During snow a 4 wheel drive may be necessary. A few things you need to know to enhance the enjoyment of your stay. Bring all food and toiletries with you because the nearest store is 30 minutes away. We have no WiFi or television stations so bring dvds with you or choose from our selection. We have provided 3 kayaks with life vests.
