Waterfront Cottage Near Herrington and North Beach

Escape to Osprey Cottage, a renovated oasis overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. Our home is a 1930s bungalow that has been tastefully updated with modern sensibility, while still preserving its original charm. Streamlined decor, gleaming wood floors, and stunning views from the common spaces, deck, and hot tub invite you to simply relax. The house has 2 bedrooms in the main house and a separate Garden Room, just 10 feet from the house entrance. The Garden Room is a climate-controlled space with a queen bed but no bathroom - guests staying in the Garden Room will need to use the hall bath in the main house. Living spaces are designed to encourage relaxation, with a light palette, skylights, and large windows overlooking the Chesapeake. Guests have access to the main house, a separate bedroom (the "Garden Room"), the waterfront deck with grill and hot tub, and a private pier. *Note - the pier is strictly USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!* Holland Point is a social neighborhood nestled on Maryland's western shore. The grassy property directly along the waterfront is community space, and we encourage you to stroll along it at your leisure! Please note that depending on the season, guests have reported sounds from hunting in the area. While we have not noticed this ourselves, if you or your guest may be uncomfortable with the sound of hunting in the distance (there is no hunting permitted in our residential area), please consider visiting the North Beach area outside of deer hunting season.
