Hippie Train Lodge Pet and 420 Friendly

We offer a place that allows your true hippie soul to relax in Colorado and partake in ganja if you so desire. No uptight, stuck in the mud people here! Only for people who enjoy chillin! Walsenburg is a destination spot in Southern Colorado for wonderful adventures! Come stay, relax and enjoy our beautiful country! If you bring pets please let us know and would ask that you read the pet addendum. Enjoy your time in this hippie hangout, chillin, free lovin, easy going, just enjoying life. The Hippie TRAIN lodge sleeps 4, one King bed and 2 sleeper sofas (each has a twin bed). We offer a fun stay, an airhocky table, large flat screen tv, an evening fire pit (please be aware that fire restrictions might be in place because of draught conditions) and large private yard with hamock and outside darts and horseshoe pit. Fully equipped Kitchen and washer/dryer. Enjoy your amendment 64 freedoms at our home. We are pet friendly but ask that you let us know you are bringing your pet, please be courteous and do not let your pets on any of the furniture and PLEASE READ and agree to the pet addendum. PLEASE read this NOTE: This house is located AT a train intersection so the train lets off its whistle whenever it travels thru (so we DO provide ear plugs for our guests if needed). A historical house sitting here since the early nineteen hundreds! What a history to tell! Nostalgic for sure! You can sit on the front porch and wave at the conductors as they pass by. Whole house is available for guests. No shared spaces. Available everyday for any questions. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. PLEASE let us know if your bringing pets. We have Daily Perks coffee shop so hope you will stop by and grab a coffee and breakfast or lunch. Located in town with the TRAIN Depot park just across the street and within walking distance to all shopping. Our "Daily Perks" coffee shop is next to the park so would love to have you stop by for some locally roasted coffee! This area of Southern Colorado is perfect for fishing, boating, hunting trips, and hiking. Along with these, there are many family fun activities in the area to do during your stay: Shopping, water sports at Lathrop State Park, Walsenburg Wild Waters (Water Park), Museums, Art Galleries, Trail Riding, Nine-hole Golf, Cycling, Wildlife Viewing. Parking is provided on the property just to the east of the house. There is a fire hydrant on the front sidewalk so we ask that you park on the east off Russell St. Right off the I-25 and easy driving from the Colorado springs airport. Beauty surrounds you as you travel southern Colorado, no worries just take each moment with all the eye candy this area provides! Pets are welcome, we ask that you let us know you're bringing a pet, for a maximum of 2 pets. There is also a pet addendum that NEEDS TO BE READ and AGREED TO. Please leave a extra little tip for the cleaner for her extra time. Please read addendum here: It is hereby agreed by and between Homeowner and Guest that homeowner will allow guest to have the following described pet and no others in the vacation home upon and subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and this addendum. Guest hereby agrees to comply the following: 1. Only well behaved pets that are house trained allowed. 2. following specifications a. May not exceed 85 lbs. b. Must be at least 1 year(s) of age or older (prior approval would have to be met if a puppy is allowed and must be supervised at all times unless in personal kennel. Only if prior approval is met). c. Must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm preventive is highly recommended. 3. All pets must be leashed at all times or in the fenced yard. 4. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse in front or back yard. 5. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. 6. Pet must not cause damage to premises or furnishings. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage may be deducted from damage deposit. 7. Guest should prevent pets from producing excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors. 9. DO NOT leave pets alone for any length of time, either indoors or out. Do not leave pet unattended on patios, or porch. 10. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. The Guest shall be solely responsible for the pet while on the property.
