Misty Morning Cottages #1 on Moosehead Lake

Misty Morning Cottages is located directly on Moosehead Lake and Route 6/15 with amazing views of Mt. Kineo, the Spencer Mountains and much more! Our location is one of the best fishing destinations for both open water and ice fishing seasons because each of our cottages are just steps away from Moosehead Lake! Cottage 1 offers a large, three bedroom, two-floor living space with family/dining areas combined, a fully equipped kitchen and a first floor bathroom outfitted with a standup shower. Upstairs offers three bedrooms (1st bedroom: full size bed, 2nd bedroom: 2 full size beds and 3rd bedroom 1 full size bed and 2 twin beds). The heat source for this cottage is a thermostatically controlled pellet stove. We have a private concrete boat launch, breakwater docks and a canoe available for our guests to use at no additional charge. There are a couple of kayaks available to rent as well. We live on site year round, so we are typically here to get you checked into and out of your cottage. If you need something while you're staying with us, we are a short distance away ready to help make your stay pleasant! Moosehead Lake is the largest lake located in one state this side of the Mississippi! During your stay with us we encourage you to explore as much of the 100 sq. mile lake as you possibly can! If you're patient and keep your eyes peeled you're likely to sneak a peek (or a photograph if you're lucky!) of a Moose, Deer, Loons, Bald Eagles and Otters while you're here! When you head up north into the Maine woods you'll need a vehicle for transportation, but if you're an outdoor enthusiast bring along a boat, kayak, ATV, snowmobile and/or skis to enjoy the Northwoods of Maine at it's best! While we do have internet/wifi available for our guests to use, the connection is not accessible in the cottages. However, guests are welcome to sit outside on our porch overlooking Moosehead Lake while using the internet. There is a $25 pet fee per stay charge for 1 dog and $50 for 2 dogs per stay due at time of check in. We do require that pets left unattended in our pet friendly cottages be crated while you're away. Please note: 2 dogs is the MAX allowed in any of our pet friendly cottages and as per our insurance we can not have Pit Bull/American Staffordshire Terriers at our cottages.  If you plan on having friends or family come visit for the day during your stay there is a $10/day per guest charge for the use of facilities.
