Belhaven is an adorable town and the birthplace of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. Tucked in between the Pantego Creek and Pungo River you will find a welcoming community with quaint shops and tasty restaurants. Our home is a quick bike ride or drive to the downtown area nestled in a quiet area. This is not a new home. We have updated the most important places first! If you are looking for a cottage style retreat with great space and relaxing yard - check us out. Boats welcome! You will have access to the entire home. We just purchased the home and continue renovate. The interior has fresh paint, new flooring, new mattresses, new linen, and towels. We have also installed new shower and water heater. The kitchen has been equipped to cook and grill. New fridge, microwave, stove, toaster, coffee pot and cooking essentials. This home does not have central air and is cooled with new window units that will freeze you out. 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. You will also find a large family style game room, reading area, and an office space. The back yard is full of beautiful flowers, fire pit with sitting area and a grilling patio. The back yard is not fenced in. Please be prepared to leave your pets on a leash when in the yard. This home is NOT on the water. Very close to several boat launches and the small public beach in town. (Website hidden by Airbnb) is a great site to plan your visit. Entire property We live about 35 minutes away and are available by phone, email or text. We are close to dining and shops. Spoon River Jack’s Tavern Georgie’s Rack Time pool hall Food Lion grocery store. Multiple gas stations. Small public beach, multiple marinas The town of Belhaven earned its official name in 1899. “ Beautiful Harbor” was and still is one of the prettiest riverfronts. The community is golf cart and bike friendly. Also very walkable. Our home is pet friendly for fur babies who are house broken, fully vaccinated and current on flea and tick medication. 2 dogs allowed and they must be leased when in the yard. If you have a need for more than 2 dogs or other pets let’s chat before you book. Unfortunately we can no longer allow cats!
