Beach House on the Lake

A neat house designed for the beach on Smith Lake! 3 story, 5 bedrooms, 3 bath, large deck, 2 outdoor secluded showers, dock, boat house with diving board. Gentle sloping yard to the lake. Year round water - very deep in front of the dock and in boat house. Many amenities in the house to include a pool table and foosball table. A wonderful place for a family vacation. Located just 45 minutes from Birmingham provides a nice place to stay for Business travelers. The house itself is unique in design. It is designed for fun and ease of living. There are 2 outdoor showers and access to boat dock w/ deck, jet ski ports and diving board for fun. There is a large gas grill on the house's deck. There is a utility room w/ a washer and dryer. Keurig coffee and regular coffee makers, dishwasher and microwave. There are ample dishes, utensils (including grill utensils), mixing & serving bowls, platters, casseroles, pots and pans to manage 2 to 3 families. Guests have access to everything however, release forms are required for use of the dock and diving board. Also, dock is limited to one boat. Guests may call us for questions, concerns or to report problems. Problems should be reported immediately. The neighborhood is called, Catalina Point. Everyone here is very friendly. Folks come to enjoy the lake w/ their families and friends. Light to moderate boat traffic on the lake and only occassional boat traffic on our slew. Very quiet. Light auto traffic on the street. Cullman has lots of fast-food restaurants and a number of nice privately owned restaurants. There is a mall and a number of chain stores. There are a couple of marinas close by and some will rent boats (pontoon, ski, etc.) and jet skis. Our neighbor rents their pontoon boat and kayaks as well. Smith Lake is one of the cleanest and deepest lakes in the country. There are marinas near by and there is a new waterfront resort with boat access. Cullman has lots of stores including shopping centers, restaurants, and parks -Smith Lake park and the Aquatic Center (indoor/outdoor waterpark). There is also an ATV park. We rent our kayaks (the sit on top kind) to interested parties through separate arrangement.
