Large Room minutes to Epps Bridge Pkwy in Athens

Our house is very cozy and convenient! We are located approximately 10 miles from downtown Athens and UGA, but minutes to Loop 10 and Epps Bridge Parkway. The neighborhood consists mostly of young families and couples and is very friendly, quiet and gated. We have two cats and got a puppy in April! Must be age 21 or older to use rental property. Previous reviews are recommended. This room is called the Purple Room. It is on the second floor of our home and is accessed through the front door and common living area. The room has a queen sized bed, flat screen TV with cable, and WIFI. The full bathroom is right down the hall and there is another bathroom on the first floor that can be used if needed. There is also a couch in the room. The room functions as a private space but guests can have access to the kitchen and the rest of the house. There is a fire place in the living room and we frequently have fires in the winter. We enjoy being a host and appreciate interaction with others, but understand and respect a desire for privacy. We also enjoy having a social life, so there might be instances when no one is home. Quite a few people have cat/dog allergy concerns. There are two cats, Koda and Meeko, but we try to keep them out of the guestrooms. We also have a one year old large puppy. She is not allowed in the guestrooms or bathrooms and we can keep her crated/away from guests if you do not like dogs. Please do not let any of the animals outside. We do not allow other pets. We will either be staying on the property at the time of your stay or will be available via phone and e-mail. The neighborhood is very friendly and safe. It mostly consists of small younger families so there are often children playing up and down the streets. The front gates are now closed 24/7. Please park on the side of the road facing the direction of traffic.
