Withlacoochee River Retreat- multilevel deck, dock

This is an stunning get-away on the banks of the Withlacoochee. Enjoy a spectacular scenic deck... Kayak on the river, directly from the house! Relax in a tropically-styled home with wood floors, a great room, and a stone fireplace. Kayaks and bicycles are provided, or bring your own boat. It's the perfect way to enjoy Florida's nature coast, with easy access to wildlife, manatees, springs, and summer scalloping. (Two nights blocked after each reservation to allow for safe, thorough cleaning.) The house includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, and a Florida room. Both bedrooms have en-suite access to a bathroom. (The bathroom from the smaller bedroom can also be accessed from the living room. The bathroom for the larger bedroom is completely private.) A shaded patio is available for al fresco dining. The deck and dock, under a stately, ancient, moss-draped oak, are just beyond. This is the real Florida. Guests have access to the entire house, garage, deck, dock and yard. This amazing house will be entirely yours! We are always available for any questions you might have - by text or phone, as you prefer. This is a very quiet neighborhood. There is no public transportation here, and most likely no Uber. The good news is that you'll be away from it all, relaxing in zen-like solitude - or within a short distance by car of historic Yankeetown and Rainbow River, Crystal River, Homosassa Springs, and Silver River. This 2000 sq. ft. house is a perfect gateway to the Yankeetown, Inglis, Crystal River area, with convenient access to springs, manatees, scalloping, and Florida’s nature coast. But if you want a relaxing getaway you will need to go no further than the grounds of this house! The spectacular multi-level deck directly overlooks the Withlacoochee River. Drop a pebble from the edge of the deck and it will hit the serene waters of the Withlacoochee and send out tranquil ripples that approach the opposite, tree-lined bank. We provide two kayaks for you to use, to explore the river, and we also provide bicycles. If you're not coming from too far away, you can bring your own kayaks or boat.
