Mckenzie River Getaway - Rustic Modern LOWER Cabin

Thoughtful, designer details throughout. Located in the heart of McKenzie River recreation area. The gateway to adventure. Private & tranquil riverfront cabin. This is the LOWER level cabin (private with no shared connections). Large living space w/wood stove & amazing river views from inside & the lower deck with BBQ. One bedroom + sofa bed in the Living Space. Trails leading to the river and wooded river views. The Upper level cabin is also available separately for a larger family or friends. Totally updated with a NW rustic modern cabin vibe. Thousands of feet of river frontage on both the home side & across the river. You won't see any other homes, very private and serene. Stocked w/ all the amenities you'll need to relax, refresh and recharge. The bedroom features a super comfy Tuft+Needle brand mattress! There are portable bedside fans and an additional heater also. You'll fall in love with the rushing river sounds just a few feet away. So soothing. The river is beautiful, but it is NOT for swimming. Please be VERY careful, especially with small children. The living room looks out at the river with windows you can open to hear the sounds or feel the breeze. The HD smart TV is setup for streaming movies from your device or using the DVD player (Blue Sky Market nearby rents DVD's!). There's a new, comfy sleeper sofa (Article brand) with memory foam mattress here for additional sleeping and extra blankets, pillows and sheets. The woodstove works well, but plan on bringing wood or buying at the nearby store. The kitchen is stocked with lots of spices, salt/pepper, and a few other cooking basics. There is a new oven/range, new fridge, new microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, blender, knife set, silverware, dishes, cups, mugs, wine glasses, bottle stoppers, crock pot and many other items for cooking a good meal. The bathroom with a tub/shower, features Public Goods amenities including body wash, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. These products are all healthy, sustainable, eco-friendly essentials. Made with essential oils and herbs w/out parabens and synthetics. The dining room has room for 6 and is perfect for late night card games. The deck is a beautiful place to relax and look down over the river, BBQ, or take a few steps to the paths that meander to the river and forrest. Please respect the guests upstairs if the upper cabin has guests. Please be respectful of parking, to allow for other guests should someone else be staying at the lower cabin. The Mckenzie General Store has great food, lots of specialty drinks, teas, beer and wine. Blue Sky Market is a one-stop shop for groceries, drinks, gas and nearly everything you may have forgotten for fishing, exploring, hiking, etc. Takoda's is a good spot for food also. The Mckenzie River Trail is very close and is the gateway to hundreds of hikes or biking options. Tokatee is a must for golfers and just around the corner. Hoodoo is only 45 minutes away for skiing as well! 1 mile walk to Mckenzie General Store and Obsidian Grill. Drive to anywhere you need or a quick bike ride to the community stores, restaurants or coffee. This is a 3rd generation family cabin that was recently remodeled. It offers many designer features and nice bath and shower amenities, but it's still a cabin. You may hear noise through the floors of the upper level guests. Everyone who stays falls in love with the location and cabin so much and our guests have been respectful, but you may hear foot steps above.
