Jeffersonville/Smuggler's Notch near Wedding Barn
Our house is a 5 bedroom Victorian built in 1835- restored with modern amenities and sits in the middle of the historic village of Jeffersonville. We are 5 minutes from Smuggler's Notch Ski area. 4 VT ski areas are close; Stowe 40 minutes, Sugarbush 70 minutes, Jay Peak 52 minutes & Bolton Valley 50 minutes. Minutes from The Barn at Smugglers Notch and Barn at Boydens. We are walking distance to restaurants, bars & stores. WIFI is excellent! Check us out on Insta- the parsonageairbnb The house will be comfortable for up to 9 individuals. Children will enjoy the area no matter what age since there is a school playground behind the house. The house has individual air conditioners in each room for the rare times that they are needed. There are two TV's one in the main living room and one in the upstairs common room. Wi Fi is included. The whole house is available to our guests. Our folks, Jane and Terry, live next door in the upstairs of their art gallery called Visions of Vermont. You can get more information on the art and artists by checking out their website "Visions of Vermont". Since we own and operate the art galleries that are co-located with the rental property, we can provide additional options for entertainment and education to those interested. For over 100 years, art history in our region has been made. Master artists works like Aldro Hibbard, Emile Gruppe, Alden Bryan to name a few can be viewed and purchased in our galleries. We exhibit over 200 pieces of fine art that represent landscape painting of master artists both past and present in our buildings. In beautiful downtown Jeffersonville, the house is in a very safe area and within walking distance of the Rail Trail, multiple restaurants, stores, and the local playground. There are art galleries right next door and a great salon across the street. Coffee and pastries are also only a minutes walk away! The best way to get around the area is by car. The house has plenty of parking though! You can also walk around the entire village from the house. The rail trail is within walking distance as well. All forms of winter activities are available nearby. Ice climbing, winter survival, cross country skiing and back country skiing are also popular. In the summer, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking and road biking are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed on the LVRT. Winter though is snowmobile season on VAST.
