Looking for a personal retreat site, a central location for adventure, or just a place to spend a few nights or a weekend? This quiet hillside home with amazing views is ten minutes from I-5 and just outside of town. The spacious living room with writing desk, bedroom, bath, mini-kitchen (with hot plate), grill, patio, outdoor fire pit, and private coded entrance are on the lower floor of this rural mid-century modern house—our family home since 1960. (P.S. There is no cleaning fee.) Watch the sunrise over Mt. St. Helens, meditate from the barn door in the misty morning meadow with the deer, read a book in the garden, enjoy your complimentary coffee and continental breakfast on the patio, and hike into the Seminary Hill Natural Area directly adjacent to the property. At night, watch the moon slip down the valley from your bed as the coyotes howl. Ideal for one or two people. Historic Centralia with its interesting shops, is halfway between Seattle and Portland. It is ideally located for day trips to the Pacific beaches, the Quinault Rain Forest, Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Mt. Rainier National Park, Olympic National Park, Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and more. I can help you plan your adventure. Maps and a cooler for your lunch available. Enjoy your solitude, but feel free to chat if you would like. I am usually around if you have questions about the area, would like recommendations, or need anything to make your stay more pleasant. Three of Earth Farm is located in the "country" just a mile up the hill from town. Arriving by Amtrak? Let me know, I'll pick you up at the historic train station. 15% discount for a week. Safety certified by county regulators. Not ADA accessible. Covered parking. Delicious continental breakfast. Quiet hours after 9pm.
