Three Maples Cottage - Quiet, Four Season Getaway

Enjoy a great vaction at this four season cottage located on a beautifully treed private 1 acre lot . On a small to medium size quiet lake with plenty of character The cottage is situated within 20 ft of the water. The screened in porch makes for a relaxing experience day or evening, rain or shine. Within short drive visit a couple of beautiful picnic spots and hiking trails. . The cottage is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, bbq, washer, dryer, dvd, digital movies etc. In the evenings enjoy a campfire in the yard with plenty of firewood available. Or enjoy some of the board games available including the original version of Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Checkers, Monopoly, Backgammon etc or just sit and relax and watch one of the hundreds of movies and series up there. About 10 kms away is a depaneur for a few of the minor items you ran out of or forgot. It also has an SAQ agency and gas. About 15 kms away is the larger town of Maniwaki with a full Maxi grocery store, other amenities, restaurants and a pub. There is also a hospital here. Or with 15 -20 minutes you can drive to the beautiful picnic spot and hiking trails around Chute Rouge or visit the natural wonder of the water falls and cave at Pont de Pierre. (See the guide book, additional directions can be provided) Also within 20 minutes by car is the start of the 65 km Veloroute de Draveur in Maniwaki, a pleasant bike path heading all the way back south to Low past lakes and other scenic spots. Note: M water comes from a shallow surface well on the property rather than the lake directly. I have been using it for coffee, dishes, cooking, brushiing teeth etc for years with out issue. But just to be safe I would recommend drinking bottle water directly. I also do own a few acres directly across the road and there is a spring over there which you may acess.
