My place has the best view in Palestine, Texas. Whether you want to go hiking or just enjoy the view, it is a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Offering the best of both worlds, this is the perfect place to get away while still having all amenities accessible. A beautiful one story home is all yours to enjoy. It features a full kitchen and spacious living area with a vaulted ceiling and wall of windows overlooking the large deck and beautiful view. There are two bedrooms: the master bedroom with a queen size bed and on-suite bathroom, and a secondary bedroom with a full size bed. There is also a secondary full bath and a large laundry room. The sofa in the living area converts to a queen size bed, and there is a loft that overlooks the living area that contains two twin size beds, perfect for the kids. You will have full access to the main house using a 4-digit PIN that will be provided prior to your check-in. Please note that this code opens the dead bolt on the main door, so you must leave the door knob unlocked during your stay. Please note there is another living space, the "cabin", that may also be available for an additional fee. The cabin is a complete living space with a kitchen, sitting area, queen size bed, and bathroom, along with a pull-out futon. If you are interested in using this space in addition to the main house, please let us know and we can discuss arrangements. For the most part, we will not be on property but will be available by phone for any questions you may have. This is a rural property with acreage (50 acres). There are a few other homes down our street but for the most part our home and property is secluded offering a quiet and peaceful environment. The majority of our property is wooded and trails are available for hiking. If you would like to enjoy the trails, please take appropriate precautions (long pants, closed toe shoes, bug spray, etc).
