It's title is "POCONO PERFECT ~ Camelback KALAHARI Hike Ski Play" For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have an external security camera facing the parking lot & entryway. Please reserve for the exact number of guests that are staying! Our maximum number of allowed guests in the apartment is 4. Failure to honor this will result in a cancellation of your reservation, and removal from the property. We have always made the health and safety of our guests our top priority, our reviews already reflect that, we maintain 5-stars on cleanliness. In this unprecedented time of world-wide pandemic, these practices take on even more significance. We follow the recommendations on cleaning set forth by the CDC. You can actually WALK to Mt. Airy Casino, we are across the street from the 2nd tee!!! From May through October, guests will have access to our canoe, it is moored at Promised Land State Park, which is scenic 19 miles away ( a 30 minute drive). Advance notice is required. Airy's Golf Course, you can walk to the Casino to enjoy the concerts, restaurants and gambling. We have woods on 2 sides, as well, so you can also enjoy nature. Often the deer will come through the yard in the evenings! The Pocono area is full of an array of entertaining things to do. The rural landscape is covered with state and national parks, as well as walking, biking & hiking trails everywhere. Many of the parks have lakes to fish, boat and kayak in. The Delaware River is perfect for fishing, tubing, swimming and boating. Camping possibilities abound, as well as nature centers and educational days. Maple sugaring in the winter, snowshoeing, XC skiing, snowmobiling... Mountain sports, as well, such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowtubing. Wildlife and conservation areas are plentiful. As you probably know, the Poconos is also home to quite a few water parks, both indoor and out. The Crossings Outlet Stores are a big attraction. The area is becoming populated with wineries and breweries. For more of a downtown feel, Stroudsburg has a lot of shops, art galleries, eateries and bars. The Sherman Theater is popular for concerts. The Farmer's Market takes place right downtown, as well as several festivals. Also, in East Stroudsburg, Crystal Street has quite a few places to eat and drink and is just around the corner from the local Pocono Cinema & Cultural Center. And there's always live music somewhere! If your in need of some free wifi, just down the road is Mt. Airy Casino ( & there's a Starbucks there) which offers free wifi. Also nearby are: Fork Street Bistro, Dunkin' Donuts, Pocono Rocks Climbing Gym, Pocono Brewery Co., Perkin's, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's... The apartment is 2.1 miles from the Greyhound Bus Station. The local bus is called The Pocono Pony, easily used through (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps, using the transit option. We currently have 1 window unit air conditioner. Up in the mountains it stays fairly cool and breezy. There are some days with high humidity, though, that are better with AC.
