National Historic O'neal Cabin
Built during the 1820s, the two-story log cabin was reconstructed in 1995 and updated in 2019. The O'neal Cabin is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located in central Kentucky, six miles from historic downtown Lexington, the O’Neal Log Cabin is in the heart of horse country and the bourbon trail. Whether you are looking for a private getaway, a place to stay during the horse sales or a retreat while you visit Lexington’s sites, the O'Neal Log Cabin is perfect retreat. Personal code for each quest for easy entry. -cabin is on 10 acre working property. Host live on property as well. -fire pits are available and wood is provided. ***wood is for outside use only*** - fireplace has a $25 usage fee and requires guest to bring kiln dried wood. Our home is 200 years old and we are trying to our best to protect it:0) You will have access to the whole of the house. Feel free to access the green space behind the cabin. The fire pit to the left of the back of the cabin is also available to you. -Please note that Airbnb states we have a one hour response rate. This is an average. We work and try our hardest to respond within one hour but often times, it can take up to 24 hours. -We live on the property and are available for any needs you may have. Located minutes away from the airport, Keeneland and the Bourbon Trail on a private small horse farm. Parking beside the cabin can comfortably fit two cars. You can fit three, it will be a little tight. Welcome to our guesthouse that we share with our closest friends and family. We ask that you respect our way of care by leaving the property as good as, maybe even better, than it was left for you. I trust you will find the cabin clean and inviting. We’re right next door, so please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything that we can do to make you stay better.
