Come relax in our cute lakefront cottage! The renovated space has amazing views of Kinderhook Lake, a dock for swimming, explore the lake by canoe or kayak! Grill on the porch, and enjoy the breathtaking sunset. The newly completed Empire State Trail (for walkers, bicyclists and runners) is about 1-2 minutes from the cottage. Come experience Columbia Count. The views speak for themselves. This cottage, perfect for two to four guests, will provide a serene atmosphere for outdoor activities, relaxation, grilling and hanging out on the deck and is centrally located with short drives to Albany, Hudson, Great Barrington, Lenox (Tanglewood), and many more fun places. You will enjoy your own private deck and dock and two kayaks and a canoe can be included for an additional fee of $50.00. Please feel free to bring your own canoes or kayaks, though, if you have them! We will be there to greet you and provide you with access to the cottage. If you need a restaurant recommendation or ideas for fun things to do in the area, please feel free to ask! Otherwise you'll enjoy your privacy. We will be available to answer any questions you might have. Kinderhook Lake is a popular place for vacationers and lakefront homes. Our cottage is located on the quieter side of the lake so you'll have more privacy and more space to enjoy. (Website hidden by Airbnb) The surrounding areas accessible by car. The nearest transit is 25 minutes to the Hudson Amtrak, 35 minutes to the Albany-Rensselaer Amtrak and 1 hour and 10 minutes from the Wassaic Metro-North train station. If you would like to rent the 2 kayaks, canoe and vests, the extra cost is $50 After October 15th the Kinderhook Lake level is dropped for the winter. The view is of Fall and changing leaf color, but no longer water out front of the cottage.
