Make yourself at home in our charming farmhouse. Read a book from the house library, curl up by the fire in one of our two living rooms, cook a gourmet meal, indulge in a soak in the claw foot tub after a day on the trails. Quick walk to downtown Kingfield's restaurants, shops, town park, and beautiful vistas. This beautiful historic house in the Western Maine Mountains offers an open concept kitchen and dining room, a plum colored television family room, a formal living room with fireplace, a house library, two full baths, three traditional bedrooms and a bunk room. This house is rented by the entire house and is perfect for groups big and small. Guests have access to the kitchen, dining room, library, both living rooms, both bathrooms, the sun porch, the outdoor patio with a chiminea, the backyard gardens and orchard. Fifteen miles south of Sugarloaf USA, the Ritzo's house is located in the historic village of Kingfield, nestled in the foothills of the Western Maine Mountains. From the house it is a quick three minute walk into the picturesque downtown Kingfield offering shopping, restaurants, and beautiful views of the Carrabassett River and Western Maine Mountain Range. This is the perfect house for outdoor enthusiasts. A quick drive will take you to downhill skiing, cross country skiing, world class snowmobiling, mountain biking, white water rafting, and guided hunting and fishing. Also located twenty minutes from Farmington offering more dining, shopping (Reny's!), and movie theaters. There is parking available at the house for two cars and additional parking three houses down in the parking lot of the Baptist church. There is a local taxi service, the phone number is provided at the house. The house is set up with a television and dvd player but no cable. There is a small selection of house dvds, however guests are encouraged to bring their own favorite movies to watch.
