Amazing views from this Fine Lake cottage!

This fantastic cottage sleeps 10 and is steps from your own personal dock with swimming area. All kitchen essentials - including an outdoor gas grill - are supplied, along with bed linens and towels. There are 2 living rooms so adults can have separation from kids during inside time. There are 2 canoes for your enjoyment. A/C, Wifi and washer/dryer are included. New last year: dock, stone patio and retaining wall at the water's edge. Updates this year: new paint throughout and new carpet. Fine Lake is a 330 acre all sports lake, but is rarely busy or crowded. It is well known for its fishing and is stocked with perch, bass, bluegill and walleye. The lake is considered a shallow lake, which keeps it nice and warm during the summer. Fine Lake has a sandy bottom which is great for water play near the cottage. My favorite summer activity is to tie a floating lounger to the dock and relax floating in the water! On the north side of the lake there is a nice swimming area we call 'The Cove', where you will often find boats beached and people swimming around together. It is so much fun! The public boat launch is located less than a half mile from the cottage, so bring your boat and enjoy your time at my serenity place! During the the Fall months, Fort Custer is close by for mountain biking and trail hiking. In the winter, this lake is a great spot for ice fishing! Cross country skiing can also be done at Fort Custer, along with nearby trails for snowmobiling. Spring is a great time at Fine Lake, just sitting on the deck enjoying the warming weather and soothing water views. This is my second home and a very special place to my family and friends. This is my first time sharing it with others through this venue, and if you rent from me I'm positive you will love it too. Whether sitting on the deck off the cottage, on the dock or floating and playing in the water, this relaxing getaway is perfect for a short or long stay! Fine Lake is about 20 minutes from downtown Battle Creek and 25 minutes from Kalamazoo. Gilmore Car Museum is less than 10 minutes down the road. Another 'fine lake', Gull Lake, is also only about 10 minutes away. Both Firekeepers Casino and Gun Lake Casino are just a short drive away. Battle Creek's Flash Flood water park is located in downtown Battle Creek and is a fun place to visit. The Kalamazoo Air Zoo Aerospace and Science Museum is also a nice place to visit - especially on a rainy day! Fort Custer State Recreation Area is a short ride away, with lots of outdoor activities to keep you busy. I am happy to help answer any questions you may have about things to do near my place.
