4 Bedroom Secluded Village Retreat

Located in the Catskill Mountain Village of Margaretville our house is the perfect retreat for city folks that want to get away to the country but still want access to amenities. Amazing location, plenty of privacy with an acre of land but only a 5 minute walk to town. Our house is located at the edge of the village near 2 dead end streets. The driveway is off of one of the dead end streets so there is no car traffic past our house. Complete privacy when in the yard or sitting on deck. We have a 4 Bedroom village home that is over 100 years old. It's perfect for a family or for couples to share. There is plenty of outdoor space with a large deck to enjoy meals on. The house has a lot of original details and has been a loving restoration project over the years. Guests will have access to the whole house. I am available via phone or email to answer all of your questions. A cleaning service comes in before and after your visit. The landscaper might come by on Tuesdays to mow the lawn and a handy man is on call should you need any repairs. 100 year old village farmhouse situated at the edge of town. Our driveway is at the end of 2 dead end streets so there are no cars driving by. Once there you will feel totally secluded yet will be able to just walk to town. Margaretville has a large grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, antique shops and galleries. Winter Skiing: Belleayre Mountain Ski Center is just a quick 10 minute drive away, Plattekill Ski Mountian within 15 minutes and Hunter and Wyndham are 45 minutes away. For Summer activities: 2 Golf Courses are within 15 minutes, hiking and kayaking abound. The local swimming hole is just a 3 minute drive from the house. Rivers and lakes offer plenty of opportunites for fishing. Perfect location to explore all the Catskills have to offer. Bus service via Trailways is available to Margaretville. There is a trampoline which may be used at guests own risk.
