Warm Home Overlooking the Chesapeake Bay

Sitting on the Chesapeake Bay, North Beach is a town where you are so close to things, yet can feel so far away. Only 45 minutes form Washington, DC, you can sit on one of three decks and gaze into the Chesapeake Bay, enjoying all that small town life has to offer. An open plan, with defined spaces, the house is at once cozy (with a fireplace) and spacious for a family. It is great for couples, adventurers, business travelers, and families. This is not a house for large groups or parties. It is also a home that is lived in - it is not perfect. If our kids break something, we don't throw it away - if it is worn, we don't trash it for something new. If you make reservations at the Four Season, this is not the place for you. If you travel the back roads and find warmth in a clean house with a comfortable bed and an eclectic collection of books, furniture and wall hangings, you may well enjoy it - and we would like to have you stay. A note about the bedrooms. There is a master bedroom with a queen size bed, deck, and bathroom. There is another bedroom with a queen bed and a single bed bunked above it. Finally, there is a cozy 3rd bedroom with a raised full size bed (3.5 feet up - so you need to step up to it). Happy to answer any questions about the layout. The garage is the entire first floor. It is a garage - but a place to escape and shoot pool or play foosball. It’s total unfinished, but functional. Guests have access to the whole house and yard I like to check in with a text to make sure everything is okay and welcome a call with any questions or concerns. I like hearing from guests how to make the place better. You are just over a block from restaurants and the board walk. Ideally located. Great town to bike in, and easy to walk anywhere. We have kids - and feel completely comfortable having then walk around town with no supervision.
