Cottage # 2 is just as adorable! floor plan is a bit different , but nice sized living space and bedroom. Has it's own private deck and lots of light! New bathroom with new fixtures, separate bedroom lovely bedding, larger kitchenette area, and also has a daybed in living space for 3rd person. Flat screen TV Wifi Everything you need for a comfortable stay in LaGrange. Just 15-20 minutes to Round Top. Set between Austin and Houston off of Highway 71. 5 min to historical downtown LaGrange New beds, lovely percale sheets, lots of pillows! The cottage offers a microwave, fridge with separate freezer, full size Keurig coffee maker, cream, sugar and bottled water. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, glassware, mugs and silverware. as well as some paper plates and napkins, dish towels and utensils. Feel free to peruse all drawers and cabinets for what you may need! Newly renovated bathroom offers fluffy towels (each guest has their own double hook) body wash, shampoo, conditioner, as well as hair dryer and other little amenities. Each cottage has a pull cart for your use, shopping at the Antique fair, or where ever you go!. Enjoy the evening sitting on the deck watching the deer, and sipping on your favorite cocktail. There is a full size fridge in the laundry/storage room located between the 2 cottages for you to use if you wish to store extra ice, canned or bottled drinks, etc. Iron and ironing board for your use as well. You will be sharing the fridge with the other guests. and me. We have added an ice machine, it is next to the fridge in the laundry room. It makes ice pretty fast, and we use bottled water to make it. there is a scoop next to the machine, and an ice container in your freezer in your cottage. there is a large work/laundry room that separates the 2 cottages. A full size fridge is available to you to store ice,extra drinks, etc. An ironing board and iron are available to you as well. You will be sharing these with the other guests. If you need to do laundry, we will just need to work out the times. We live on the property, and will be available by text. You may see us as we work around here and water the plants. Please feel free to come and chat! A word about COVID and mask wearing: we do not generally wear a mask unless we are in a store that requires it. However Ifj you request that we wear a mask when interacting with you, we of course will; because we want our guests to be comfortable. Since we will not be in the same buildings together, this should be a short interaction. Of course social distancing goes without saying. Please message us to let us know if this appeals to you. We are located in a well established neighborhood, with each home on 3.5 acres or more, so very little excess noise. Around the corner are lovely ranches. Monument Hill is a great historic site about a mile up the road and we are about 5 minutes from Historical Downtown LaGrange. It's pretty easy traveling from town to town in Texas. Lots of Farm to Market roads and open highways get you just about everywhere your little heart would want to go. You will drive through pastureland with horses, cattle, goats and my fave Longhorns! there are a couple of local taxi companies, but no "Uber" Yay!! Round Top antique Faire is up and running at the end of this week...March 18th - April 4. Lots of fun to be had, good places to eat and music to listen to! lots of other things to do in the area as well....Painted Churches in Schulenburg, Monument Hill and The Texas Heroes museum in LaGrange and of course lots of antique stores along the way!! We have a cat named Lulu, not too sociable, and a little dog named Daisy who is. If either one is a bother, just let us know. There is parking designated for the cottage guests.
