BedRock Retreat

We are a perfect family, Sunday School, or office retreat gathering spot as well as for Canton Trades day shoppers. It is our prayer that you will feel the quiet and peace of the country soaking in God's presence as you visit. Our home will comfortably accommodate individual beds for 4 and a master queen bed for 2. A double bed that can accommodate 2 if you like cozy and a 6' sofa for a child. WE have a large backyard with a horseshoe pit and other games. Our home is your home and we appreciate you treating it as such. Because we live in our home you are welcome to use all appliances and cooking utensils. If you have a special request for an appliance check with us and we will let you know if we have it. We may be present in our RV behind a privacy fence during your stay however, we assure you have complete privacy. You have complete access to the entire home and property except for the far Southern end where our Rv and shed / work area are located. We have tagged guest area use and identified those area we prefer to keep private. We cover the pantry area that is not accessible to guests. We always want you to feel like you are appreciated and valued as our guest. We also recognize from our own travel experience that people like their privacy. While we will be on property in our RV unless you are otherwise notified we do not intrude on your stay. We will make every effort to be in contact with you as needed before your coming . Hopefully everything you need is ready and easily found and accessible, however if we do miss something we will be happy to accommodate you as soon as you give us a call. We leave it to the guest to make social contact. There may be other guests in our RV the "Cozy Camper at BedRock Retreat". You will be informed of this before your arrival. There is a privacy wall between the house and the RV giving complete privacy to both guests. We are blessed to live on one acre of country space surrounded by cows, horses, deer and various small wildlife. We are not bothered with heavy traffic, loud people or other city type distractions or aggravations. There are some young people in the area so now and then you might hear a loud pick up or a 4 wheeler but not often. We are not isolated or alone, however it is very dark out here as there are no street lights. We do have motion lights in various places around the property. You are within 15 min of Chandler, small country town with restaurants, pharmacy and Brookshires Grocery. Canton's 500 acre Trades Day is only 25 min. West and Shreveport Casino gambling 90 min to the East. Dallas/ Ft. Worth metro area is about 90 min West. Tyler, the Rose Capital of the World is about 25 min. East. And of course Tyler is the largest city in the immediate area. There are lots of fun and intersting things in Tyler. Just search Tyler TX and a travel guide will pop up. We have rock landscaping around our home. This can be a big temptation for children. The rocks are not friendly to the lawnmower so we ask that restraint from throwing the rocks be exercised.
