Enjoy nature and use the bbq/outdoor kitchen, practice yoga, enjoy the outdoor shower, take a stroll, run, hike, mountain bike, or just relax and enjoy. Solitude on over 40 acres amongst public and undeveloped private lands. 30 minutes from town and Ruby Mountain trail heads. Happy to provide hiking, hot springs, and area information. XL Glamping Tent with screened windows and door; 6 XL camp cots with warm, cozy bedding. Quiet, pretty, healthy, and a fun place to camp with great amenities! Fantastic views of the Ruby Mountains and nearby lake. The last true west - vast, open spaces. Outdoor shower. Private, clean, awesome privy. All bedding and towels provided. Sleeping bags have soft sheet liners for cleanliness, and bags are rated to -10F with cotton flannel interiors, canvas exteriors. Mediation pillows, bbq, dishes and utensils. Tent area + hike around the property or on BLM land; use patio for BBQ or hang out; Outdoor shower; outdoor bathroom facility; commune with our chickens. We like children, but we are NOT responsible for them. Please make sure your children do not damage property or hurt pets. Since this is a rural, high desert locale there are hazards associated with any outdoor play - please keep children safe. MAY 2020 NOTE: We might still have some freezing nights, but days are typically nice. If you care to chat to get info regarding the area or other we are happy to visit - time allowing of course. Many guests have arrived as strangers and left as friends. No neighborhood really, this is a rural area with a few folks around. 30 minutes to town. Open range cattle grazing. We have a relatively rough dirt road to our place. Small cars can make it okay if drivers are prudent. SUVs and higher clearance vehicles work the best for those drivers who may be less careful. Roads are dirt and area surrounding tent is graveled and dirt; Please keep tent clean by removing shoes before entering, and leaving any dirty/dusty gear on porch/deck.
