Nor does it have limited restaurant and bar option compared to places like LBI, Seaside or Wildwood. There are so many different options no matter which direction you head. Sea Bright is a small town just south of the Sandy Hook Gateway National Park where Bruce Sprignsteen has been seen riding his motorcyle. Here there is so much to explore. There are bike and hiking trails, beaches and historic sites. Just as close is the Hartsthorne Woods park with scenic hiking trails and Twin Lights Historic Site and museum which can be seen from the house across the bay. The house is located on the quite North End of the island adjacent to just past the new million dollar condominiums. A block and a half to the North is a great seafood restaurant Second Jetty and three blocks to the south is the new Tiki Beach hotel and their live music venue and dockside restaurant. Since there is no public parking on the North End, the ocean beaches are usually sparsely populated as only local residents can park in the vicinity. The house also has its own private beach on the bay/river side which puts kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and clamming steps away from your door. Unlimited dining options include the many down town restaurants on Ocean avenue in sea bright, just over the bridge in the very exclusive town of Rumson, just to the north in The Highlands and The Atlantic Highlands, to the south in Pier Village in Long Branch and of course downtown Red Bank which has tons of restaurants (including NJ’s best, Nicholas) bars and the legendary Count Basie theatre. Monmouth Park and its entertainment complex is nearby as well. If you want to venture further, historic Asbury Park is about 12 miles to the south. For those seeking a little excitement for the kids the Keansburg Amusement pier is about 15 minutes away. If you have any questions about the area, just ask! If you’re driving into town, we have parking for two cars on-site. The beach just steps away, and many restaurants are within a short distance. Taking the ferry from New York City? The closest ferry stop is the Seastreak Ferry Terminal at Highlands. The ride from Wall Street to Highlands takes 45 minutes and runs several times per day. Ridesharing services like Uber and Lyft are readily available in our area. Sea Bright is also a fantastic place to bike - you can get just about everywhere on two wheels! Our neighbors are great people who are very welcoming. Please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum, especially at night. Please note that the unit is accessible via stairs only - there is no elevator.
