Horse Lover's Guest Bunkhouse (Fun and relaxation)

Horse Lover's Bunkhouse is a comfortable fun place. You can bring your own horse for trail riding or lease one of ours. We have stalls for overnight travelers with their horses. You don't have to love horses to visit. Other attractions in the area: lakes, rivers, historical forts, hunting, fishing, brewery. It is very quiet and peaceful. Be prepared to relax and enjoy the sandhills of NE. Guided trail rides or riding lessons are an additional hourly charge and seasonal depending on weather. The bunkhouse is only open from April 1st to mid November depending on how soon the weather turns to freezing temperatures. We will be available during your stay to meet your needs and ensure your safety. Unique places to visit in the neighborhood are Calamus Lake with seasonal fishing tournaments, Tanking or Tubing on the Calamus River, Fort Hartsuff, Bootleggers Brewery, Sandstone Grill, Pizza Palace, The Hub Coffee and Ice Cream Shop, Dry Creek Western Wear, The Burwell Rodeo and Fair in July, The Junk Jaunt in Sept. The Windmill Festival near Comstock, Prairie Chicken Bird Watching and seasonal hunting at Calamus Outfitters, Bike Tour in June, and more There is no public transportation in the area... it is a small town with easy access everywhere. Considering this is an outdoor-oriented place and working horse ranch Guests agree to read, understand, sign, and adhere to a Liability Waiver upon arrival.
