The Happy Vista Cabin- Paradise North of Qualicum

Due to COVID restrictions, BC residents only until June 15th. Canadian residents only thereafter. Relax as you gaze out over the ocean and listen to the waves from our cozy cabin with an unforgettable view. Take a walk down the driveway to the private resort beach below, take a paddle in our kayaks, and enjoy a fire in one of the fire pits as twilight sets in. Just north of Qualicum Bay in the Town of Bowser, find yourself in the hub of vacationville! West Coast inspired, 2 bedroom cabin with space for 5 guests. You will want for nothing here as everything from the linens to the dishes were thoughtfully chosen and of the best quality. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need (and more) including a BBQ on the deck. Bathroom with new tub and custom tiled shower with custom milled wood ceiling and separate vanity area with sink. Living room is ultra cozy with wood burning fireplace insert, TV, DVD player, games, and cards. Enjoy watching the constant sea life going by (whales, seals, sea lions), cruise ships passing and the resident eagle couple that nest in the trees. We live in the area on our farm in Parksville. We are available by text or phone and are within a 30 minute drive if any issues arise. In the hub of vacationville! Just north of Qualicum and Parksville in the Town of Bowser. Close to Spider Lake and Horne Lake Caves. Paddlers’ heaven! Prime fishing at Nile Creek close by. Walk to the local grocery store. Mt. Washington is just an hour away. If you want a mid island vacation with access to the best the area has to offer, this is it! Seacroft Resort is a small and peaceful, private resort of independently owned cabins in a very special location with some of the best views and private beach the area has to offer. We also have a private boat launch for any guests wanting to bring a boat. A car is needed to get around though you can walk to the local “everything you need” store from the cabin. For those looking to get out on the water, we provide 2 kayaks with paddles and life jackets. Please note kayaks are kept at the cottage and must be carried down to the beach (they are plastic but need two people to move them). Also note the cottage is on the bluff which is what gives it the incredible views. You must walk down the hilled driveway to get to the beach (1 minute walk but the driveway is steep). The beach area is private for the owners/guests of Seacroft Resort. If you have a guest with mobility issues, you are welcome to drive them down to the beach area. Our beach is nick named Eagle beach as we have up to 20 eagles daily feeding along the beach. It is truly incredible to watch! We are within walking distance to the local grocery store and cafe.
