Four acres nestled in a beautiful, wooded, secluded setting. Unique location with access to several Civil War sites, Whitetail ski resort, hunting, hiking and equestrian trails. Washington DC and Baltimore approximately 70 miles away. Close access to I-70 and I-81 Horse and dog friendly. There will be a $50 per night charge for the horse and there is a $50 per pet fee for a dog. Your dog is allowed WITH OWNER APPROVAL. NO other pets allowed. Renters must clean up after their horse and/or dog Relax on the front porch and watch the Cardinals, Blue Jays, Orioles, Gold Finches and more fly in. Lightening bugs, toads, frogs, squirrels oh my! Located down a private lane, you will truly experience "getting away from it all". This cozy cottage in the woods is decorated and furnished with all the comforts of home, with amazing views from every window. It has a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and disposal. There is a minimum dinnerware service for 8, including silverware and beverage glasses as well as pots, pans, toaster and coffeepot. There is a charcoal BBQ grill and utensils for outdoor cooking. (Charcoal, lighter, matches etc, not provided.) The bathroom has a tub and shower with bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. (No soap or shampoo provided.) The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed, dressers and closet. There are two additional bedrooms with full size beds, dressers and closets. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds, a dresser and a closet. Bedding is provided for each room. The open living area includes a Den with reclining sofa, loveseat, chair and wooden bench. TV and drawers full of family games. Sliding door opens to a sun room with additional seating and beautiful views. Dining area seats 6-8, as well as a breakfast nook that will seat 4. Washer and dryer available for use. Some soap provided. The house has been cleaned and sanitized according to Airbnb’s five step process. Your health safety is important. There are steps leading into the house and a single step down into the den area. I am available 24/7 by phone or text. If you have on site issues Nancy is available during your stay. She lives close by. Whitetail ski resort is about a 25minute drive. 40 minutes to Gettysburg, 20 minutes to Antietam Battlefields, and 90 minutes to Hershey PA. Fifteen minutes away from a lovely hike on the Appalachian Trail. Washington Monument Park in Boonsboro, Maryland. Amish country (Lancaster) approximately two hours. NYC and Philadelphia 3-4 hours. Watch a live Major League Baseball game at Camden Yards or catch the Ravens NFL game within 1.5 hour drive. Washington Nationals, Washington Wizards, Washington Redskins, to name a few more. Close access to I-70 & I-81. (10 minutes) There is coffee with packets of sugar and cream to get you started. Also, there are six bottles of water in the refrigerator. There is a filtered water faucet at the sink separate from the normal faucet. Some laundry soap and cleaning supplies are provided to help clean up the place and send you home with clean clothes. One roll of toilet paper will be provided to get you started. You will need to bring paper towels or napkins as these will not be provided.
