Our cabin is in the woods just up the hill from the river Peaceful and relaxing The river is great for wading and fishing. There is also a picnic area at the river with chairs, picnic table, fire pit, horse shoes and plenty of trees to hang a hammock. You could even pitch a tent and sleep by the river. This property has a main house and then the cabin is down the sidewalk from it. The cabin has it's own private area with a side yard and a firepit. Our cabin is a one room studio with a bathroom. It has an outdoor shower for the brave at heart and an indoor one with a carved tree in it. We have a kitchenette that you can cook in. It has plates, cups, silverware, pot and pans and cooking utensils. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge, toaster and a one burner eye for cooking. Outside there is a covered porch with two chairs and the side yard has a fire pit with a barbeque area. You can see the river from the porch (more so when the leaves fall) you can also hear the river from the cabin. The river has a nice area to just relax, with chairs, a picnic table, horseshoes and plenty of trees to string a hammock from. You have your own cabin, you will share a parking area and the sidewalk goes from the main house to the cabin. You have your own fire pit and at the river you can use the deck, chairs, picnic table, fire pit, horseshoes, river and grassy valley. We like to give our guests space, but are available if needed. My parents home is beside the cabin if you need someone. I can be reached via text or email. We are in the mountains and woods. We live down a gravel driveway and you can't see any other houses from our spot, so its very nice and private. Cell service is a little sketchy in the area.
