Cozy old home by College/Downtown/Historic street

Cozy little home with lots of character, in a historic neighborhood, 1/2 block from Wheaton College, and 3 blocks from downtown Wheaton/college ave train. Large yard, and enjoyable front porch to sip coffee are just some of the highlights. The home offers parking for 4 cars on premise comfortably. The house has 3 queen beds, a crib, and a couch which could sleep perhaps 1 person. *Back deck being renovated.* If you don’t mind old homes with their perks, this could be a great place for you. The entire home is yours to use, from the front porch, to the spacious backyard, all bedrooms, and 3 common rooms on main floor. **Please note the back deck is not available since it’s being renovated. You can still get to the yard from the front. Guests have access to the entire home. My husband and I live directly next door, and are always available. If you are looking for recommendations, forgot an outfit for your baby, or need some extra cooking ingredients, we’re happy to help! We’ll help you check in, find your way around, explain the neighborhood and hot spots, and be available as much as you need. We’re always eager to meet new friends. We also love welcoming back Wheaton Alum and Parents as we are Wheaton grads ourselves. Quaint street in historic district of Wheaton, with homes more than 120 years old. This home couldn’t be closer to Wheaton College, only 1/2 block from campus and Edman Chapel. It’s also 3 blocks from Downtown Wheaton, and the Wheaton Public Library. 4 blocks to tens of restaurant options, and the Wheaton French Market, the largest farmers market in Illinois. Walking is best, however if you need a car to get to daytime meetings, there are 2 garage and 2 driveway parking spots. The train is always a fun/cost efficient option to get to Chicago and other cities on the train line. No smoking. Pets need to be approved + extra cleaning fee may apply. Absolutely NO parties allowed due to the fact that we’re in a neighborhood with lots of families unless discussed beforehand with restrictions. Please note that the cleaning fee equates the time our cleaning people spend on average to do *deep cleaning* after each stay (extra steps are required due to Covid). Please note the checkout is at 11:00 AM unless discussed otherwise. We require that guests empty all trash, put all dishes in the dishwasher and start it, and leave the keys where they found it prior to their departure.
