Do you want to get away from your busy life and noise of the city? Our custom built mid century modern home at the end of a dead end road sits among 800 acres of the Mianus River Preserve. Come stay in this spacious room with a private marble bath and semi-private kitchen (shared by one other room). Hike, fish, bike or just relax right out your back door. Expansive stone patios with everything you need to relax and decompress. Separate yourself from the world and enjoy nature. COVID19 worrying you? Come stay in this private suite where you don't need to be in contact with anyone if you chose. There is a spacious kitchen across the hall that is shared by only one other guest. This kitchen is in addition to our (the hosts) kitchen. The kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, large toaster oven and induction hot plate. There is no full oven. The kitchen also includes a full assortment of pots, pans, dishes and utensils. At one side of the kitchen also a stacked full size washer and dryer. The washer and dryer are also shared by others. We are here to help you enjoy your stay. If you want privacy that's fine. If you want a guide to all our area has to enjoy, we are lifelong residents of the area with a wealth of knowledge. We are as beautiful as the Adirondecks but only an hour outside NYC. Easy access to trains and shopping. We are 20 minutes from Stamford Train station by Uber or taxi. The house is in a very quiet area with lots of space. The pictures don't even do it justice. Our neighborhood is a treasure for outdoors people. We do have a pair of golden retrievers and a cat that live with us. The AirBnb space is the lower level of the house and therefore separated. The home is on a sloping property so the lower level is not below ground but walk out to massive stone patios that look out and down over nothing but trees as there isn't another house for miles behind our house. We also have another room available and if you rent both rooms you can also have a large living room area that sits between both rooms. Each room has its own marble private bathroom.
