Ice Jam Inn: Bear Crossing Room (Hallway)

Starting May 1st, we will begin booking more than one party in the hallway. In this case, the bathroom will be shared with other rooms. We will provide disinfecting wipes to sanitize between use. Please adhere to NYS Covid Guidelines when around other parties in the home. There is no full kitchen for guest use. The Ice Jam Inn is an Adirondack house that was built in 1860. Enjoy the rustic charm and modern amenities. 250 feet of the East Branch of the Ausable River runs through the property. We are located 6 miles from Whiteface Mountain and 6 miles from Keene, NY (Home of the High Peaks), 20 miles to Lake Placid. Please enjoy our large wrap-around porch and private riverfront access. There is a path to the river directly across the road from the house. Upper Jay is a small town located close to many points of interest in our area of the Adirondacks. We are 6 miles from Whiteface Mountain in the town of Wilmington which is great for hiking in the summer and ski sports during the winter season. Lake Placid, home of the 1980 Winter Olympics, is 20 miles from our location. There are historic places, many restaurants and great sites in Lake Placid. Keene and Keene Valley are 6-11 miles away which have local shops and events like weekly farmers markets and art centers. The name of your booking is the room you will be staying in. Each room has a sign on the door corresponding to the listing name. The restaurant is open Wednesday & Thursday 4pm-8pm, Friday & Saturday 3pm to 9pm and Sunday 4pm to 8pm.
