New rail trail down the road, great for walks and nearby playground. Cook on the grill & relax next to the fire pit. Inside, feast after a day of exploring. Relax by the fire & wake to a forest view. Built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , Little Blue House is an authentic and charming example of a cottage that has it’s heritage restored while incorporating modern conveniences like the Nest thermostat. The bathroom is stocked with products from luxury brands, to add that extra pampering. We recently add a freshly laid stone patio to enjoy more time outside with a lawn area to come next spring. We think our area is magical, we are remote but have lovely neighbors close enough to feel safe but not intrusive. We often spot deer, chipmunks and other wildlife in the garden. Our local caretaker is there to make sure you are happily checked in, & after that, available by phone , text, or email, in case you have questions. We are as communicative as needed/as you prefer. Please note we do have an outside security camera for the safety of guests, located above the front door. Please communicate during your stay as we we are very adaptable and open to feedback. We try to keep things minimal and so you won’t see a ton of physical guidebooks or multiple TVs. This place is best for enjoyed by focusing on the simple things in life, nature, good food and good company. Little Blue House is nestled in woods and nicely placed within walking distance of Marty's Mercantile (general store + brunch spot). Short drive to Boiceville amenities (IGA supermarket) and Bread Alone cafe. Close to many hiking trails and in right between Phoenicia and Woodstock, two great towns for exploration. Also short drive to Hunter mountain and Saugerties.*we are in the woods but there are still neighbors and we are on 28a. The train journey is beautiful and Uber is available from Rhinecliff station Walk the ashokan reservoir and see where NYC gets its water supply.
