The Barn is a renovated space with an open sleeping loft, and beautiful floor-to-ceiling views overlooking the Catskill Mountains. There is a private pond that is swimmable (although at times water is rather brown). The Barn has central air, a kitchenette and a deluxe bathtub. A true Hudson Valley escape, 2 hours from NYC. Scandinavian-inspired barn with a bright and airy loft-like feel. There are 2 queen beds located right next to each other up on the loft. There is no privacy so intended for one couple only. The kitchenette is equipped for basic cooking and the fridge is small. This chic renovated space is located in the hamlet of Germantown, five minutes from Main Street - with all you need - James Beard nominated Gaskins restaurant, Otto's Market for groceries, and a handful of independently owned shops. DOGS We love dogs and are dog owners but unfortunately, we have had to put some rules in place. * You must give us advance notice if you plan to bring a dog during your stay. * Bringing a dog will incur an additional $75 pet fee. * Dogs may not sleep on the bed or on the furniture. * Dogs may not be left alone in the Studio, tied outside, or left in a guest’s vehicle. * A towel will be left by the door and we ask that dirty paws be cleaned before entry to the space. - Our property is and old barn and there might be some country inspects that make it inside. It is located in a country setting and we ask guests to be mindful of exposure to mosquitos and ticks. - Due to the open and lofted sleep area, our space is not safe or suitable for small children. -Kitchen has mini fridge. -Bathroom has claw foot tub with handshower.
