Black Oak Hill is managed by its homeowners, former Yosemite Park Rangers. We keep our guests updated on local policies, emergencies, and park visitation procedures. Our house is at the top of a gated 12-acre (5-ha) property at 3100 feet (945 meters) with views of mountains. It's only 31 miles (50 km) from the west (Arch Rock) entrance to Yosemite National Park and 6 miles (9 km) from the historic and scenic gold mining town of Mariposa. See our location on the map. To get the 10% discount (base rent fee) on a 4-night stay, send us a request BEFORE you book and we will send you a quote (excludes May 26-29, July 1-4, Sept 1-4, Nov 18-26, Dec 16-Jan 1). The 15% discount (base rent fee) on a 7-night stay is automatically calculated. NOTE: May 20-Sept 30 Yosemite requires a day pass reservation for all visitors to enter the park between 6 am and 4 pm available at recreation.gov.
