The Cozy Cabin - Fountain City WI

Beautifully located on top of the bluffs just north of Fountain City. We're about a 10 minute drive outside of town. It’s a scenic ride to many tourist attractions including: the Great River Road Trail (and Wine Trail), Merrick State Park, Lark Toys, Nelson Creamery, shopping, dining and more. You'll find our place peaceful, quiet and relaxing! Winona MN is about a 20 minute drive, La Crosse WI about 45 minutes and Eau Claire WI about 1hr 15 min. The cabin has a great yard! Based on the season/time of year there could be an opportunity to explore acreage attached to the property that has nice hiking trails. You can enjoy an evening campfire and the peace and quiet of living in the country. The cabin is fully equipped with a stove, full size refrigerator/freezer, cooking utensils including pots, pans, baking dishes, toaster and everything you'd need to make meals. We also have a washer/dryer, 4-person kitchen table and 1 full bathroom. Outside the home is comfortable patio furniture/tables for 2 people. All you need to do is bring your food and bag chairs for the fire! We supply hand/body wash and shampoo along with soap for the washing machine if your staying long enough to do laundry! *Please note, while the cabin can sleep 6 people, it is tight when the beds are pulled out. A comfortable group would be a party of 4 but if your ok with the main living area being tight at night, it will sleep 6.* The entire home is yours in a gorgeous country setting! The sunrise and sunsets are amazing up here on top of Canada Ridge in rural Fountain City. There is a fire pit to enjoy an evening campfire and some acreage for hiking located just behind the cabin (hunting season restrictions in Nov might apply). Note: When you come up to the cabin the land on the right side of the road is private and not ours. The land on the left side where the cabin sits and hiking path behind belongs to us. We live just down the road but will give you total privacy! Call or text us if needed! We’re approximately 10 minutes to Fountain City, 15 minutes to Cochrane or Buffalo City, about 20-25 minutes to Winona and 30 minutes to Wabasha.
