The Gourley Manor is a historic home built in the late 1800s by Dr. Thomas Gourley. He was the local doctor and had his office in the home. The home has been fully restored. A portion of the proceeds goes to help abandoned or orphaned children through the Watoto children's home. We also contribute to helping nourish malnourished children from Haiti and around the world through the Reliv Kalogris foundation. They are helping children thrive. Thank you for staying with us and making this possible. There is a beautiful wraparound porch with many places to sit and watch the passersby on historic route 66. Inside the home there is the front parlor, formal dining room, relaxing sunroom, and half bath that are common space for all our guests. The kitchen is open to the parlor where tea and coffee are available. The house is fully accessible for the guest to be in, however the kitchen is not available for cooking by the guests. I prepare a nice dessert and coffee or tea when the guest check-in, and then I prepare breakfast the next morning. I live in the home and will be available by texting once you arrive. I love to visit with my Guest but if you are here for your own private time, I respect that as well. You're in the middle of a beautiful farmland country area of Missouri. Just off of interstate 44 and historic route 66. The Gourley Manor is the only bed-and-breakfast in the state of Missouri that actually sits on historic route 66. There is a nice parking pad on the east side of the house, with a accessible ramp to the house. This site is to rent all three rooms plus common areas, or The Master Suites are priced per room with a maximum of two people in each room.
