Muskoka Maples Spacious Private Suite

Set in Muskoka on 18 beautiful acres, Muskoka Maples is home to two friendly rescue dogs...Maple and Willow--PLEASE NOTE--that the dogs run loose all day on the property and love to visit with the guests The suite is family and pet-friendly property has no stairs and is easily accessible. Pets must be approved before booking. Located 2 hours north of Toronto, between Bracebridge and Huntsville. There is no stove for cooking but there is a BBQ and a continental breakfast is provided in suite. While a breakfast is not served, a continental breakfast is provided for guests to enjoy at their leisure. Guests make their selection from homemade goodies and other breakfast basics. Coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of teas are provided in the suite. Guests make their selections from a list provided a few days before their arrival. Our family produces traditional Canadian maple syrup each spring over a wood fire, which guests are welcome to participate in. Relaxing getaways in the summer offer lots of time for boating, fishing, hiking, golf, a game of horseshoes or Giant Jenga on the property and a campfire at night under the stars. See the spectacular fall colours from one of our amazing local lookouts, take a walk on the property or take family photos around our backyard gardens and end your day with a drink on the private deck wrapped in a cozy blanket. In the winter we have the perfect spot for snowshoeing, cross country skiing or sitting in front of the gas fireplace. If you have your own boat we have space to park and are only 3.5 km from the boat launch at Mary Lake for a leisurely drive through the locks to Huntsville for ice cream. We are a smoke-free property with a smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the home. The suite sleeps 4 people with a queen bed in the bedroom and a pull out queen bed in the sectional sofa in the living room. A mattress and air mattress are available. All the amenities for a comfortable, stress-free stay are at your fingertips, including: private entrance with key code to your suite which has a spacious living room and bedroom, flat screen tv's in both areas, air-conditioning, full-sized shower with seat, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hair dryer, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, dishes, silverware and BBQ. For your convenience we provide all bed linens and towels. We even have a large selection of board games and activities for the days when the rain or snow keeps you inside. There is high speed internet with a password provided. Wayne is an avid fisherman and a certified scuba diver. Betty owned and operated a bridal boutique for 10 years. She now works on the property and is a property manager for a rental home. Wayne and I have lived in Muskoka our entire life and 32 years in the Huntsville/Port Sydney area. We are happy to welcome you to our little piece of paradise! Nestled in the heart of the Canadian shield, we enjoy spending a lot of time outside, either on the water, walking the trails or in the sugar bush.
