Private suite close to MSU & Lansing

The serene bedroom and private bath suite boasts a breezy coastal vibe and features a California queen-sized pillow top bed. We cater to the single traveler as well as couples. Our home is in an established, quiet residential neighborhood and is conveniently located minutes from Michigan State University & downtown Lansing. A variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options are just a short Uber ride away! DISH TV & wi-fi, too! The bedroom decor will remind you of a breezy beach cottage .Your suite is situated on the first floor of our home. This cozy room features a pillow-top California queen-size bed, ceiling fan, air conditioner, TV and room darkening shades. Our guests rave about the comfort of the bed! The private bathroom is right next to the bedroom. Hair dryer, fluffy towels and toiletries are provided. Our home is a traditional style, multi-story house located in a family-oriented neighborhood. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. You will have a semi-private entrance adjacent to the guest suite. Limited cooking may be arranged and we're happy to provide space in the refrigerator/freezer. If weather permits, you may enjoy your morning coffee on our shady patio. We enjoy getting to know our guests, if schedules permit, but we also respect your desire for privacy. Your hosts, David and Sherry, have lived in the greater Lansing area for more than 25 years and love meeting new people. We are MSU Spartan fans and always look forward to hosting folks while they're in town for a big game (Go green!) or graduations. We are happy to share recommendations for our favorite local places or, if you prefer to discover the area on your own, we'll make every effort to make your stay with us enjoyable. If you enjoy a good walk, you can get in just over 2 miles on well-lit and maintained sidewalks. Our neighborhood is diverse, consisting of young families, empty nesters, retirees and young professionals. Again, we're minutes away from the MSU campus and all that the Lansing area has to offer! We are about 3 miles from the MSU campus, a bit far to walk, but there is a CATA bus stop at the entrance to the neighborhood. We also have bicycles that we're happy to loan for our guests' use. Taxi services and Uber are readily available. We're close enough to the BIG 10 excitement of MSU, but far enough away from the noise. Our adorable toy schnoodle, Nellie, is our official welcoming committee. If needed, we are happy to help with transportation to and from area airports. Inquire about rates.
