Northward Beach

This is a 2-bedroom, 2 bath ranch home with 100 feet of Lake Huron frontage in Black River Michigan. This home is 1500 square feet with central air, surrounded by quiet serenity. There are 2 living rooms, an updated kitchen with gorgeous views of the lake. Black River is located 25 minutes south of Alpena and 35 minutes north of Oscoda. Harrisville is a small, quaint town within a 10-minute drive. This home is an older year round home that has a bit of the "Cabin Feel" to it. It also features attractions such as the Sturgeon Point Light House, Cedar Brook Trout Farm for kids (both located about 7 minutes south of the property) and two Ice Cream shops at the south of town. Bed Configurations: 1 Queen (Bedroom 1), 1 Queen (Bedroom 2), 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper (Living Room 1), 1 Queen Sofa Sleeper (Living Room 2) **Depending on the natural occurrence of lake levels they may be higher or lower than photographed. We do our best to post the most accurate photos. Guests will have access to our garage, and Fire Pit Chairs. The shed is NOT to used. Firewood is sold at many places with in a 5 minute drive of our home. I will be available with in an hour of notifying me by email or 30 minutes by text or phone call. If anything happens to the house i will have a repair company or handyman come out. For the Nature lovers 4-5 miles from the house is Negwegon State Park that has walking trails and 2-3 miles of undeveloped beach. This region also has miles of Trailhead (Alcona ORV Trail (29.3 miles) & Bull Gap Trail (100 miles) located between Oscoda and Black River as well as two State Forest Camp Grounds (Harrisville State Park & Negwagon State Park). Also located 3 miles north is a boat launch on the Black River that feeds into Lake Huron and is great for Fishing. Between Oscoda and Alpena there are multiple Breweries (Austin Brothers, Wiltsyies, Brew Haus) Wineries (Thunderbay Winery), and Restaurants to try out.
