This recently renovated first floor apartment is located on the grounds of the famous Egyptian house. It is a cozy, private, one bedroom apartment comfortable for 2-4 people. The property is conveniently located with plenty of off street parking. Washer and dryer in the unit, all new kitchen, flooring and appliances The apartment's front porch, yard and off-street parking are available for your use. Parking and yard may be shared by other guests at the house and upstairs apartment. You will have the place to yourself but I am available by phone and will check in periodically. Our neighborhood is a mixture of residential and business. The apartment building is surrounded on 2 sides by a farm and sits back from the road. There is plenty of off street parking and public transportation runs on our street. A car, however is preferable to best enjoy the area. We are close to major roads and the interstate, historic sites, Christiana Mall, University of Delaware, Wilmington and Philadelphia airports. Public transportation runs on our street but a car is preferable to best enjoy the area. Historic Old New Castle, located nearby, has quaint shops and restaurants a park and walking paths on the water and to the Wilmington Riverfront. The Egyptian House Estates includes this apartment, a second floor apartment listed as Green Sanctuary and the Egyptian House next door. The house is available room by room (listed as King's Chamber, Queen's Chamber and Castle Loft). We allow smoking outside only - legal tobacco products or vaping. Recreational cannabis use is illegal in Delaware. We don't allow cannabis on the property. We don't allow medical-use cannabis here either, since we don't have the privacy required by law - we are a public space.
