Cattail Creek Cottage - Yankeetown, FL

This original 1937 fishing camp is in Yankeetown, a quaint little fishing village on the Nature (West) Coast of Florida. Very quiet, peaceful and friendly. This cottage is steps from the public boat ramp. A golf cart is available for rent and access to the owners dock and boat slip are available if it's not already rented. Please ask..The cottage comes stocked with many amenities. A fabulous restaurant within walking distance. Well behaved pets are welcome. A cozy, cutely decorated cottage with all the amenities I could think of, please let me know if there's anything you need. There's a queen bedroom with a brand new memory foam mattress, lots of linen, comforters, and pillows.. A queen sleeper sofa with a nice, fluffy mattress pad.. A sunny front porch sitting room with magazines and a book case with books you are free to keep if you like, yahtzee, scrabble, cards, coloring books and crayons for the kids.. A new smart TV in the living room with Netflix and Amazon Prime movies.. NOTE - there is NO cable TV, just Netflix and Amazon Prime!! Good Dog friendly with a secure fenced-in back yard.. Inviting firepit out back with Adirondack chairs around it, a small Hibachi grill and a fully stocked kitchen.. There's a large screened in back porch with plenty of seating that's perfect for a beer on a rainy afternoon.. Rain on a tin roof... Neighboring boat ramp with deep water access, my other airbnb house is just a few blocks away with a boat slip /house free of charge if it’s not rented out, plus 5 boat ramps all very near by.. i have a golf cart for rent to use around the neighborhood. I'll be happy to meet with you if you like.. There's a door code (self check in) that I'll get to you before your stay, so you can arrive whenever it's convenient. The cottage is just a few feet from the boat ramp, a park, the main street in Yankeetown (Riverside Dr), the Blackwater Grill and bar, a playground and the Withlacoochee nature trail that has a lookout with fabulous views You can golf cart to the restaurant, driving around is easy, there are kayak rentals at the marina next door to the restaurant.. Life preservers in the bedroom armoire The septic is in the front yard, please park just across the alley in the vacant yard or in the front yard close to the carport.. Please don't block my neighbor by parking along the back yard fence..
