The Crooked House

Located in the town of Davis on a quiet street within 1 mile of Blackwater Falls State Park and 10 miles from Canaan Valley, White Grass and Timberline ski areas! It is only a 4-5 minute walk to main street and a little further to the grocery store. You can now use the whole house! HURRAY! The front downstairs room is still being worked on and the front door is taped closed for heat control, but is available for use during your visit. We’re still upgrading the appearance to make your future visits better! Guests have access to the house through the mudroom at the right rear of the house. Once you have booked entry details will be available. During the winter the front door is not used for heat control, but the porch and swing are still available. I try to be there when you arrive to show you where everything is but due to current COVID recommendations from AirB&B and our Governor, I will not be meeting you personally in the foreseeable future. Davis is so small that not only are there no stoplights, there is no Stop Sign on the main drag! So, if it’s in town you are within walking distance. Thomas a registered Historical Town is just 2 miles away. There are many interesting things to do there as well. Thomas is 2 miles away, Blackwater Falls State Park is 1 mile away and Cannan Valley (Timberline Resort, Cannan Valley Resort and White Grass Cross Country area) is about 10 miles away. There is no bus, taxi Uber or Lyft around here. Shop n Save (grocery store) closes at 9pm every day. Dollar General (Everything cheap Store) is now open 10pm every day I believe.
