Twenty-three acres nestled in the rolling foothills of the Yadkin Pee Dee River Basin along side the southern fork of the Mitchell River. Enjoy sipping your favorite wines from our local vineyards or a pint from the near by craft brewery secluded from civilization. Don't forget to bring your pets, because your pups will love rolling in the mountains meadow. A large fire pit with access to free firewood makes for a majestic night of tranquility. Inside the cabin are two full size futon beds and one single wood frame bed. We encourage guest to bring their own sheets and blankets/sleeping bags for a more comfortable experience. We also have a wood stove, chairs a coffee tables and a small desk inside the cabin. The land has walking trails throughout the property both along the rivers edge and up the lush mountainside. This space provides a comfortable feel for singles, couples and small gatherings. This space is a camping experience without running water or electricity. We do have clean sheets on all the beds but encourage guest to bring their own bedding to make the experience more comfortable. There is little to no cell reception at the cabin which gives you and your party the opportunity to re-connect with the natural beauty of the sounds and sights that our North Carolina foothills have to offer. (Service may be found for Verizon users atop the hill on the property.) We currently have a porta potty on site that is cleaned out regularly. River access Walking trails Fire pit Grill grade attached to fire pit Outhouse 90% of guest will not meet me in person. I have created a small packet describing where all the trails are, local venues, local wildlife and laboratory procedures. This packet is inside the cabin. Of course in the event you need me feel free to contact. Be glad to accommodate you during your stay. This is a completely secluded experience.
