This lovely space is centrally located in downtown Florence, steps from the bike path and walking distance to Look Park, the Pie Bar and Cafe Evolution. The large living area includes a pellet stove. a convenient functional kitchen with a vintage sink, and a large dining table for eating or getting work done. A dramatic spiral staircase leads to the comfortable bedroom and attached full bath, with clawfoot tub and shower, and heated tile floor. Access is completely private via a large deck. The space is cozy, hip and functional. It was designed to be a treat, and a healing space. Great for a weekend away in lovely Western Mass, or to visit the Colleges, or a longer extended stay if you are visiting student or scholar. It has everything you need. Guests will have access to the apartment, and the deck and entrance. I live with my 17 year old, and our pup, in the remainder of this 4 BR colonial. Your space is completely separate and private, as it is essentially its own 1 BR apartment, with a functional small kitchen. I work from a home office, am a single mom to my teenagers, and have a dog named “Todo Beeyen”. I'm around, and will be readily available by text, unless something more appeals or is called for! The neighborhood is right in downtown Florence, steps from the bike path, and easy walk to gorgeous Look Park. You are a block from a diner, our fabulous local Pie Bar, and the Lilly Library. The unit is about two miles from the Center of Northampton, and Smith College. You can manage on a bike, including a nearby station for the “valley bike” electric assisted bike rentals, and can also walk to many places from here. There are also plenty of buses. This is a very central location, great access to our extensive bike path, and a beautiful area. You can rent bikes within walking distance, or If you want to bring your own, you can use the garage to store it. The space is ideally suited for one or two persons. The kitchen is complete and you are able to cook meals if you like. Due to the spiral staircase, it is not suited to small children or people with mobility limitations.
