We invite you to stay in our home with us for a night or a few weeks and experience urban loft living in Historic Downtown Salisbury. A unique, artist influenced space to relax, get inspired or get some work done. A 5000 sq. ft. big wide open shared space in a repurposed factory building. Artist Loft has 5 listings. This is our 4th listing consisting of open floor space with 1 queen beds and 1 sofa bed that comfortably sleeps 4. In addition there are 2 comfortable couches if guests don’t wish to share beds. Please no alcohol or pork products. —Complimentary juices, drinks, soy or almond milk, cereals, coffee, tea, hot cocoa. —Bathroom may be shared by other guests. Hosts have own bath. —Washer & dryer available. —Library and TV area for place to hang out. —WiFi connection in entire loft. —Furnitures available to set up an office. —Keys to come in and out as you please. —Parking lot next to building is free night time and 2 hr free daytime parking. —Parking lot across the street is free 24/7. —Artist Loft is on second floor accessible by stairway. —Freight elevator available for heavy gears. Freight only, no passengers. Since we are on the premises we are available in person or by phone or text, so don’t hesitate to contact us for anything. We go about doing our work in the studios and you are welcomed to interact with us. We keep things quiet until we get in the kitchen to eat or snack, then conversation starts. Kitchen is usually where interactions happen. At night we usually confine ourselves in the master bedroom. We prefer to host one group of guests at a time even when we have other empty beds. If you are a party of one guest, chances are, my wife and I and you are the only people in the Artist Loft. On rare occasions there will be other guests present, like family, friends or regular guests. If you or your party prefer to be the only guest, exclusively, let us know during your booking, we’ll make sure you’re the only guest if there’s not already a booking on other beds. We live in beautiful historic downtown Salisbury that takes pride in its history, architectures, diversity of peoples, boutique shops, variety of cuisines, breweries, museums and art galleries. Artist Loft being tucked inside of a city block, away from street, in the back of a parking lot makes it more private and quieter than most city dwellings. -Artist Loft is 1/2 block from center of downtown. -Entire historic downtown Salisbury is walkable. -Downtown shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants, bars and breweries are easy walk. -Chain stores and restaurants are 1/2 mile and more away accessible by car or local bus. -Amtrak Train Station (SAL) connecting major North Carolina and East Coast cities is 2 blocks away. -Greensboro PTI Airport (GSO) is 60 miles away. -Charlotte Douglas Airport (CLT) is 50 miles away. -Concord Padgett Regional Airport (USA) is 30 miles away. -All airports can be accessed by combinations of mass transits but more conveniently by taxi or ride share. Salisbury is an historic town, steeped in Civil War History as well as Colonial History. Over the years it has become an art and culinary town hosting numerous special events.
