Historic Victorian townhouse built in 1880. 30 steps to Carroll Creek's Galleria Fountain on the promenade, with festivals, restaurants, antiques, music, theaters, and various types of galleries. Warm historic atmosphere inside with modern central AC and heating, private on-site parking for up to five cars, great wifi, and two Roku TVs. One block to the famous Antique Row, Visitor's Center, Everedy Square, Market St, & Delaplaine Arts Center, & Marc Trains to Washington, DC etc All new beds - king, queen, two twins, and two cots sleep 8 comfortably. Completely recently renovated full bath, & half bath. Powder room, washer and dryer. High thread count all-cotton sheets. ALL bedding is laundered between customers. Even decorative bedspreads are washed between guests. EVERYTHING on each bed is laundered. Floors are newly restored, and have a quiet and lovely squeak after 140 years! House is made of "Frederick Red" brick, harvested locally. Within a 5 minute walk, you can stroll down Carroll Creek, Patrick St, or "Antique Row," and past dozens of restaurants, unique shops, musical venues, bars, and theaters, and parks. Within a 6 to 10 minute walk, you can walk past the famous Weinberg Center, Market Street, and dozens more shops, restaurants, art galleries, and unique eateries. Guests have exclusive and private access to the entire townhouse. We are happy to be available by text at all hours, and we enjoy hearing from guests with any question or concern. Old Frederick city is uniquely walkable, with dozens of unique eateries, shops, and unusual venues of all types. Enjoy Italian, Thai, Greek, Turkish, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, Japanese, coffee shops of course, and even self-described "Hippie" cuisine. The train to Washington DC is only around the corner, a 2 minute walk, so it's easy to enjoy a wonderful weekend without the usual depressing drive home Sunday night. You can stay Sunday night also, and take the morning commuter train straight to work in Washington, DC!
